UV Photoelectron Spectroscopy Problem
« on: March 09, 2015, 06:23:43 PM »
Hi,

I'm trying to compare the UV photoelectron spectrum of Ni, Cu, and Zn (I have attached the spectra).

Does anyone know which has the largest density of states? I think its Ni as it has the lowest fermi energy but I'm really not sure :(

Also, would you expect Zn to be a transition metal using this simple approach?

Any thoughts much appreciated!!
