A degree from an accredited school will involve multiple classes of the following: biology, chemistry, physics, microbiology, organic chemistry, food chemistry, biochemistry, nutrition chemistry, math and I'm probably leaving some out. Just don't ask a food scientist how to cook. Cooking classes aren't part of the degree (although I'm working on changing that)
