Starting Chemistry Internship/Summer Project (Undergrad)
« on: May 22, 2015, 05:03:37 PM »
Hey all,

I am a third year chemistry undergrad and I am starting a summer internship in an organic research lab next week. I'm not sure what to expect so I am looking for any advice/info from people who have done chemistry placements before or any PhD students who have worked with clueless interns in the past :P I am sure every lab is different but would love to hear about anyones experiences :)

Just enjoy the experience. Research is when you really "learn" how to be a chemist. You'll learn how to work independently and develop a research-oriented mind. Don't be afraid to ask questions but most of all just enjoy the experience.
