I have my final exam in 2 days and it's likely a similar question to this will come up. Could somebody please help me out with how to solve it?
A covered soup bowl (25 °C) contains:
1 L of very diluted cold soup,
1 L of air,
1 mL of a floating pat of butter (fat).
1 mg of naphthalene is added to the soup bowl
At 25 °C:
Log Kaw = -1.76
Log Kow = 3.36
How much naphthalene would you ingest if you ate only the butter (assuming equilibrium had been established)?
