Here's a question my friend and I need to figure out also.
When a hydrated salt (e.i. copper sulphate pentahydrate) is added in water.
Then what will occur?
And if there's another substance withing the water, what would occur if you heat the mixture?

A salt that is fully hydrated cannot be hydrated any more, but if the salt is soluble (as yours is) it will dissolve
