6. Glycerin effect to chemical oxygen demand (COD) in  treating oleo-chemical  wastewater in  soap industry

Thats my topic. I know glycerin is a waste from oleochemical industry but what is the effect to chemical oxygen demand? And does it help in treating wastewater?

Glycerin is an organic substance and will increase the COD.
