Metaldehyde nitration
« on: December 29, 2015, 08:14:30 PM »
Hi! I was wondering if it's possible to nitrify metaldehyde using the common H2SO4/HNO3 method? Looking at the molecular arrangement i think it would be a high explosive, 4 nitro groups?
Sorry, but i'm new in organic, started now to discover it!
