I'm having problem with the fragmentation pattern of 1,4-cyclohexanodione (you can see it here

). I don't understand the peak at 56, I guess it might the loss of 2 ethenes like in hydrocarbons, but that just doesn't seem right since it is obtained 2 C=O and I've never really seen that. Other possibility is the α cleavage to the carbonyl groups obtaing m/z 56, this seems more likely but I can't come up with how would the cleavages go starting from the radical cation.
