Hey!
So I understand that the Phenyl groups have to be Equatorial leaving three Flourines, one equatorial and two axial (so two phosphorus environments). So why does this lead to 2 triplets? I would of thought that it would be q doublet and triplet
Can somebody please explain this?

Why would you get a doublet and triplet? There is only one P, so only one signal. Both splittings operate on the same signal, so you get a doublet of triplets (assuming the equatorial splitting is greater than the axial).
