       I just want to make sure I have the correct answer since I'm not used to dealing with two distinct funtional groups on either side of a carbon. I attached the question and my answer so you could see the structure.

(This is with 1 mole of HCl.) Is any of my attempts to name this structure correct?

2-chloro 2-methylbutane

If you name it 2-chloromethyl-butane the methyl group could also be bonded to carbon atom number 3
