MgH2
« on: June 02, 2016, 05:17:02 PM »
Is it right to say that the compound MgH2 is a weak acid and a weak base in aqueous solution ?

I'm basing my answer according to the reactions:
MGH2+H2O=MGH+H3O+
MGH2+2H2O=MG(OH)2+2H2

thanks
