Hi,I need your help regarding laboratory level small preparation of sulfur tetrafluoride.Method i chosen is SCl2 reacted with NaF giving S2CL2 with SF4 and NaCl.I calculated enthalpy of reaction and it comes out to be exothermic so seems to be feasible.*I want to confirm whether this will happen by just mere mixing as former is liquid and latter solid and no where in reference books mentioning of any other extra condition or catalysts. So need help especially from whom who have done it practically.*if no,do u know any easier or alternative method to prepare SF4 at lab level?
