Zinc Extraction process

We have one copper oxide (CuO) powder which contain Zinc impurity is around 25%, can any one know which extraction process we will use to extract the Zinc from copper oxide powder.

Think about amphoteric properties of zinc.

if i will use any acid or basis, it will affect my copper oxide properties, so, how to extract the zinc without affecting the copper oxide properties ?

Diluted NaOH rather do not affect CuO properties
