difference between one-group and two-group disconnection
« on: September 15, 2016, 12:54:40 PM »
Hi guys,
Im kind of stuck on this, how would you explain the difference between one and two-group disconnection in a way that one could be able to see them in molecule?
In Disconnection approach, chaper 6, p 35 it is ilustrated on this example:

Does it mean that two-group disconection is disconection in a way that uses assistance of another functional group in the reagent other than the one that is reacting?
