Hi everyone, it isn't clear to me why, (when using Mohr's method), the silver chloride percipitates first while its solubility product is higher than the solubility product of silver chromate? Every source tells me the product with the lowest solubility produduct, which in this case is the silverchromate, should precipitate first.
Pleas help me out
Thanks!
For AgCl, Ksol= 1.2 x 10^-10
For AgCrO4, Ksol = 1.7 x 10^-12
