Hello I'm a master student Organic chemistry and I'm stuck on a synthesis.
I fail to achieve a strategy to this compound, I was thinking of a starting material approach since I recognise Tyr and pyrazolidine. Also Itaconic acid seems to be in there.... Anyone have an idea/suggestion? Very appreciated!

We have to make it in several ways and compare syntheses and draw some conclusions out of it

So where is the best place to make the first bond disconnection? In my opinion, this is not an easy task, so don't feel bad if you're struggling.

I think one of the best ways is to make that Pyrazoline ring and use peptide coupling techniques to link tyrosine fragment to the Tryptophan/Phenylalanine fragment.

This was you could focus on how to make that Trytophan/Phenylalanine structure.

Unfortunatley you would have to make the Pyrazoline ring, it' really expensive to buy
