Can't you just figure it out experimentally, why do you need to calulate this from first principles?
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.

Because I actually want to know the quantities of various compounds which will result in a given density, and thus there is nothing to experiment other than creating my own tables (don't want to do).  I felt that predicting density based on a given quantity would be easier than predicting the required quantities based on the given density.
