Reaction rate

How can I calculate the mass of magnesium that have reacted in a reaction that hasn’t gone into completion?
Let's say for an experiment, I decided to vary the amount of Mg dissolved in 10 mL of HCl and measured the time it took for the temperature to rise to 30 degrees Celsius. How can I calculate the reaction rate? ( knowing that reaction hasn’t gone into completion)

Can someone provide an example ( let’s say I used 0.02g of Mg and it took the reaction 5.13 s to rise to 30 degrees Celsius )

Find the limiting reagent of the reaction first.
