I am gonna attend Grad School soon and just wanna ask you about this,
What kind of problem or analysys to be solved with MATLAB in Chemical Engineering Graduate School ?

Kinda depends on the subject you are following

You could use Matlab for the following subjects
- Reactor (CSTR, Batch, PBR) modelling (Temperature, pressure, yield)
- Thermodynamic equillibrium calculations
- Computational Fluid dynamics
- Fundamental understanding of numerical methods to solve complex systems
