Chemistry project/question that needs help.
« on: October 12, 2017, 04:55:47 AM »
Hey guys.

I'm not an expert in chemistry and therefore I was thinking that maybe someone in here could help me out with a project/question.

I want to know if there is any ingredients that would be able to give a long lasting cooling effect, which u can pray on with a can. It needs to have a wax texture and not unhealthy for the skin.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

long lasting cooling effect

You need to be much more precise than that. "Cooling effect" means "ability to absorb heat". Amount of heat is something we can measure, and is a property (together with the temperature) of every cooling mixture. So you need to know how much heat you want to absorb and at what temperature, then you can check available options.

Thank you for the reply Borek!

Well I want it to be no less than 5 Celsius when applied to the skin.
