I have 500grams of Poly Aluminium Chloride and I was wondering if anyone knew of a method of converting it to just AlCl3 Anhydrous Aluminium Chloride?

Anhydrous aluminium chloride is not possible. You can boil it with HCl and get AlCl
3
x 6 H
2
O.
Anhydous AlCl
3
is only possible to burn aluminium in an chlorine athmosphare or mix Aluminiumoxid and Carbon and treat with chlorine.
