This is the first time that I have taken Chem and I am so lost, can you explain how to do this problem,PLEASE *delete me*

A red blood cell has a diameter of 7.5 micrometers. What is the dimension in :meters and millimeters?

Check out this website for what those prefixes mean.  The math is pretty simple.
