Would either of the solvents (ethanol or chloroform) used in the solubility experiment be suitable for recrystallising naphthalene or maleic anhydride? If so, which, and why?

It is a forum rule that you must provide your thoughts before we can help you. In this case a good place to start would be to list out the properties of recrystallization solvents, then try to apply them to the situation at hand.
