Hi
I have a question for an assignment around predicting the shape and bond angle of NH22-
But I cant even work out where the two additional electrons would go for it to be a -2 ion? Nitrogen has 5 electrons in the valance shell, and with two covalent bonds with hydrogen it makes 7, if it then had two additional electrons where would the second one go?
I know how to answer the bond angle question when referring to a NH2- ion but this other electron has thrown me!
Many thanks
