that's different from person to person. Personally, easiest for me is biochemistry, hardest is organic chemistry

I don't like having to deal with Nernst equation very much. On the contrary, I find organic chemistry very interesting.

Wonderkid: when are you going to take your A level?
"Say you're in a [chemical] plant and there's a snake on the floor. What are you going to do? Call a consultant? Get a meeting together to talk about which color is the snake? Employees should do one thing: walk over there and you step on the friggin snake." - Jean-Pierre Garnier, CEO of Glaxosmithkline, June 2006

organic chemistry overall is hardest for me because it can't interest me. Tautomerism, mesomeres, electronconfigurations, reaction mechanisms bleh :-X lol

Stereochemistry for me.  That R and S E and Z stuff is hard for me to figure out.  I still need my model kit sometimes.   ;)

Inorganic chemistries were my lowest marks.  Memorizing structures and getting my head around complex symmetry operations (like screw axes, etc) aren't my cup of tea.  I bet if I was given that kind of this in more mathematical terms, it would work better in my head.

And I LOVE analytical chemistry so much, it's my favorite...and easiest (for me)...a LOT of students have trouble with it though

im studying in 'a' lvl now too, and i think the organic chemistry thing is getting quite complicated too =o

i've only reached so far up to arenes, so i cant hardly say which is the hardest topic in it though
one learns best by teaching

Organic chemistry is the easiest for me, I also like analytical chemistry and - my recent new interest: Geochemistry :) , however, I don't like calculations (such as pH calculations or Nernst equation as Albert said). :P
