Arranging Chemical reactions into
« on: August 12, 2006, 08:54:11 AM »
Metal               AX          BX       CX         DX       EX
A                      -            +         +          +        +
B                      +           -          +           -         -
C                      +           +         -            +        -
D                      -            -          -           -          -
E                      +           +         +           +        -

Arrange the following metals A,B,C,D and E according to increasing reactivity out of the information
given above. Use The Symbol of greater than (>) in indicating that one metal is more reactive than the other. Ex A>B>E means metal A is more reactive than B and B is more reactive than E.

I dont know where to start ther'r so many elements
I know that B + AX = there is a reaction in which B > A
but i tried solving other elements and some gave me an A < B

I dont know where to start ther'r so many elements

Start comparing any two of them. Then add third and insert it into correct position - and so on.
