Mn titration in phosphate bath?
« on: December 22, 2019, 12:22:15 PM »
Is it possible to titrate for Mn concentration in parkerizing bath?
The bath chemistry is 0.85% H3PO4, 2.4% NaNO3, about 0.2% iron, X% MnPO4.
Target Mn is 1g/L so concentration is in that ballpark.
Thanks ahead.

Hello, pcm81!
I think it's posible , but i don't now concrete method - you need to do a little study to find sutiable method.
Youcan start here :  https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK158867/
