When was the last time electrochemistry won?

The medicine prize was pretty chemical as well.

I just quickly read a summary of the prize  in physiology or medicine.  I was surprised to learn that hydroxylation of proline residues in the protein HIF-1α is important in determining its metabolic fate:  Proline hydroxylases, not just for collagen any more.

As an aside, I think it is time for Peter Schultz to win for non-natural amino acid incorporation.
