Help please!! Plant preservation

Hi everyone! Could someone shed some light on what fixative or growth inhibitor to use to preserve spinach? I researched online and found a commercial site recommending FAA (Formaldehyde Alcohol Acetic Acid, 10%:50%:5% + 35% water)? Will this work?

Thank you very much for the link! I think that’s where I read it from (not from a commercial site). I’ve also found other useful sources of info on fixation and fixatives. Perhaps they might be helpful to others who need to at least get started on their SSEP project which is what our team has been working on.
