« on: April 12, 2020, 04:43:41 PM »
I'm struggling with some tasks connected with chirality. I've done some examples but I'm not sure if I'm correct. Can you help me also with the rest? Thank you!
(a) chiral;
(b) achiral;
(c) chiral;
(d) chiral;
(e) achiral;
(f) chiral;
(g) achiral;
(h) ???;
(i) ???;

Does j have a plane of symmetry?  I agree about k, but what was your reason?

You have one wrong I think.

I think g is chiral - it is like a cumulene with 4 different substituents.  Like XYC=C=CWZ

k and l:  Are there 4 different entities attached to the carbon in question?  Now answer.
