Hey there,
I am wondering whether amide polymers can undergo Hofmann Degradation or not.It works with molecules but kinetics of polymers might cause trouble.If its possible then Hofmann degradation of urea-formaldehyde resin will result in what.I am a student with no lab or chemicals with me.Please help me out to make conclusions

it might work coz it has amide linkage as -NH-CO-NH-

Every reaction is a chemical change - if it can occur.
Each textbook and Wikipedia link indicate the structural requirements for this reaction - for urea-formaldehyde resin they do not exist.
