Best way to grind down Potassium Nitrate is?

Hi guys, i've been experimenting with gunpowder. and i came across some interesting results while testing it.



i have trouble with grinding down the Potassium Nitrate to powder, it's still in an crystal/salt form instead of powder. this resulted in slow burning and weak inconsistent flames. does anyone know an good way to gradually grind down Potassium Nitrate to an "Powder like form" or just small enough to react quicker?

Weights i used

mod edit removed Weights values per forum rules

I didn't ask for an recipe though, just an way to grind down Potassium Nitrate, maybe it was not smart listing the other ingredients though. but it's for an school project, Themed: "New Years Eve"
