Excuse my bad English. Electrolyzer Pt anode and stainless steel cathode. The electrolyte is 25% sodium chlorite in water. Chlorine dioxide is produced, hydrogen is not produced. Sodium does not react with water. Where is the problem?

Between the cathode and the anode is a microporous membrane...
