I don't understand what is the meaning of "give  snacks" and "take snacks"? When are these action used by the members of this  chemical forums?

I use the "give snacks" function when someone gives an insightful answer or has had to look something up to provide some information.

Sometimes members will take snack from someone who violates forum rules.
Sometimes members give snacks when they gain insight from another member.

Snacks do not cause any direct change in a members participation status.
It is a way of showing pleasure or displeasure with another member without clogging up the forum with unnecessary fighting.

I have never taken a snack ..yet
