If you draw out the N2O molecular structure, you can see that the lone pair on oxygen can participate in resonance, so if you look at the hybridization of the oxygen shouldn't it be SP2 because it can form a double bond and have 2 lone pairs?
N≡N-O
N=N=O
In the second resonance structure, shouldn't O have SP2 hybridization?
I googled around and everyone says oxygen is SP3 so I am really confused.
