Nature of photon
« on: October 18, 2006, 04:58:42 PM »
I have read that photon have wave-particle duality. As a particle, it is massless and has no charge. I cannot imagine the massless particle. Someone can explain me ?

Wave-Particle Duality was talked about once. The old topic may be helpful.

I cannot imagine the massless particle.

Even neutrinos are not massless, why should photon be massless?

The equation E=MC2 might help.    Energy is related to mass directly proportional by C2.    You can get energy from mass, so why not mass from energy???
