Hi I need some help with a concentration problem
« on: May 05, 2021, 11:31:17 PM »
With how many mL of a 0.25 molar solution of KCl should we start, if we want to prepare 100 mL of a  0.1 molar solution? I don't really know how to solve this and it's for my assignment due soon. Could someone please help me?

All dilution questions are based on the mass conservation: amount of the substance present in the solution doesn't change during dilution. How many moles of KCl in the final solution? What volume of the starting solution contains this amount of KCl?
