In a highly acidic pool with a pH of 12 and an OH- concentration of 1.0 x 10^-2 how much vinegar (with a pH of 2) is needed to neutralize the pool and bring it back to a pH of 7? Note: The pool is cylindrical, and is 12.0m wide and 8.00m deep.

a) Steve says that in order to neutralize it you would need to use 4L of vinegar. Using your knowledge of acids and bases, are his calculations correct, why or why not?

b) How much vinegar could you use in order to avoid wasting it?

I'm not really sure how to solve this and it would be super amazing if someone could just walk me through it or go over the basics :) Thank you in advance!
