Neuropeptide Y and Leptin regulate the hunger feeling.

The substance that goes by CAS number 1972-08-3 seems to work as well.

Aren't there hormones in the body that do that as well or are Neuropeptide Y and Leptin just that?

I would consider Leptin as a hormone. Of course lipolytic hormones influence the production of Leptin, since it is based on the saturation of adipocytes with TAGs.
