Why does Li react less vigorously towards water relative to its other group members Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr?
Why does Li react towards dihydrogen at 1073 K whereas its other group members Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr react with H
2
at 673 K?

Why is lithium less reactive than, say, francium generally speaking? Hint: what kind of reactions are the ones you mentioned?

A simple Google of the reactivity of Group 1 metals will give you insight to the answer to this question. Hardly undergraduate chemistry.
