what is the conjugate acid of ethanol

Well, this kind of bends the definition of a conjugate acid.  Typically you would have something that is significantly basic or charged or something like that and you would figure the conjugate acid from that species.  Ethanol, however, isn't very basic.  I suppose the conjugate acid would be protonated ethanol, so EtOH2+.
