"Heterogeneity" of complex molecules
« on: June 25, 2023, 01:44:21 PM »
I've taken an exam in one European medical university and have had the following question:
"Which macromolecules – complex lipids or complex carbohydrates – are more heterogenic according to their structure? Justify your opinion."
I was really confused during my exam, since I thought that heterogeneity is a feature of solutions only. I haven't any found information about this feature of molecules though. Which answer would you give and how to justify it?
