I am looking into saltwater passivation, and how it works on materials such as copper nickel alloys. After running this solution through the metals, would it be possible to reuse it for future runs? Also, if not, why can't it be reused?

I don't think I ever heard about using saltwater for passivation, do you have any sources for that?

In general, whether the bath can be reused depends on whether passivation consumes it and/or contaminates it, so the answer will depend on the exact chemistry of the process.
