I am confused about enthalpy. If it is Potential Energy, then why is it released as ?H when a strong bond is formed? Isn't ?H Kinetic Energy? Please *delete me*

?H is not kinetic energy. Kinetic energy is energy associated with motion.
When a bond forms, the atoms go from a state of higher potential energy to lower potential energy. That difference in energy is released as ?H.
