how you prepare the palm oil sample for metals detrmination?

Hi every body,
plz, any body can help me how can I  prepare plam oil(cooking oil) sample for determination As,Fe,Cu. I used to ash the sample but the sample content loosed during the ashing and some time contaminated , I dont have a microwave, so can I use wet digestion and how?

I would try a simple dilution and then ICP analysis.  Used and new lubricants are typically analyzed using ASTM method  D5185.  The oil is diluted 1-10 in xylene (yes - this reduces the sensitivity 10 fold, however, most elements can still be detected down to ~ 1 ppm) and then aspirated into the ICP.
