NH3 and H2NNH2
« on: November 06, 2006, 05:36:12 PM »
Why is NH3 more basic than H2NNH2 (N2H4 Hyrdazine)

I just can't figure this out...

Also, why is hydrogen peroxide H2O2 weaker than N2H4 as a rocket fuel??

Thanks--i owe all you!!

Write down ammonia and hydrazine as H2N-H and H2N-NH2 and compare indocing effect of H with NH2

These are two different problems.
Fuels need oxidizers
Hydrazine is the fuel.
H2O2 is the oxidizer
