P.S. Yes, I'm aware that there are females on this forum, but the M:F ratio's been about 3:1 for a long time now :P

I think a reliable estimate for the proportion of females on this forum can be obtained from a representative sample. There are 19 staff members in all, in which tamin83, tiger and sadra are females. The male-female ratio among the forum staff is 16:3, which suggests that 15.7% of our forum members are female. A more conservative estimate would suggest that one in six members in this forum is female.
