e.g. Hydrogen
Its atomic weight according to IUPAC is 1.00794(7).
Is the digit inside the brackets an uncertainty?

It means it was measured to be 1.007947, but the last 7 is not known with exact accuracy so it is placed in parenthesis.

So, should I take the digit inside the brackets when doing a calculation that I want to have the most accurate calculation?
