Khymos - A Blog Dedicated To Molecular Gastronomy
« on: December 24, 2006, 03:59:18 PM »
Thank you Albert and ?*? for filling in for me while I was on vacation! It was a really good vacation, I left the country for a week and didn't touch a computer once. Now back to blogging...

?*? and I both suffer from a similar disease, keep-on-top-of-anything-chemicalitis, and in that spirit I'll be featuring a chemical blog that she hasn't already "linkied".

Khymos is a blog that focuses on the molecules in food. A screen shot is shown below.

The site is maintained by Martin Lersch, a PhD chemist, and features many good looking treats from all over the world--I'll have to tap the international CF members to hook me up! Go check out the blog, because what self-respecting chemist wouldn't want to know the molecules in their food?

Note 1: Poll is up for favorite chemistry blog 2006. Vote now! Poll ends Dec 30th.
Note 2: I know you thought the disease ?*? and I shared was color-blindness, but that's an other issue.

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

Are both of you flirting with each other? :P

*sigh*  ::)  Well, I'd tell you to facebook me, but you don't know who I am.  (I like to bring this up just to drive people-who-like-to-find-anonymous-bloggers nuts.)

Like Mitch? You two are almost hmmm "cute"? ;-)

@Geo: lonely girl is a professional actress. A while ago there was this hype about her diary. I watched one episode and almost fell asleep. I prefer reading personal ruminations, rather than watching them.
I'm not suffering from a mental disease - I'm enjoying it.

LOL. She's cute whether she's an actress or not.
