What is more efficient and gives better results, absorption or emission spectroscopy?

It depends on what you have and what data you need from your results. Better is very subjective.

How will I know whcih method to use? In our lab experiment, we used AAS for trace metal analysis of vegetable sample. I also found this experiment, trace metal analysis of tea leaves using FES.
